Laser Tattoo Removal Training — Certified UK Course

Yes — this course is designed for complete beginners. All relevant certifications and practical training are included, taking you from zero experience to offering laser treatments to clients. You don't need any prior background however *We recommend double checking with your local council for any location specific license requirements

There are currently no legal overall regulations for every council where a license is required to offer Laser and/or a specific VTCT qualification to offer laser treatments in England. The requirements to practice come from insurers — who typically ask for Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, Core of Knowledge, and a laser-appropriate training certificate. All of these are included in this course.

Could this change in future? Possibly. Our LPA (Laser Protection Advisor) advises that the laser industry is unlikely to see significant regulatory change in the near future given that current focus is on the broader aesthetics sector. We don't feel it's appropriate to sell something expensive that isn't yet a confirmed requirement — especially when a VTCT Level 4/5 qualification alone costs around £3,500 without a machine or practical training. However as always we recommend checking with your local council for peace of mind on requirements.

If regulations do change and a specific qualification/award body becomes a legal requirement, we will still provide our Machine and practical training packages and support any new or existing students through any transition to obtaining a VTCT qualification — if at this point you have already been practicing for 2 years, there are smooth conversion courses available.

The laser training market has huge price variation — much of it driven by machine brand markups rather than quality differences. We now manufacture our own machines under The Laser Machine Co. brand, working extensively with our LPA to source and build machines that are safety compliant, high spec, and genuinely effective.

Rather than marking up the cost, we pass the savings directly on to our students. We're a family business and believe professional training and equipment shouldn't be out of reach. Our goal is to fill a gap in the market — premium machines, thorough training, and exceptional ongoing support at a price that actually makes sense.

This Tattoo removal course includes our Laser Machine Co. ND:YAG Pro 4 Laser Machine It's a compact but high quality, robust machine at 20kg, and comes with laser safety glasses and three laser heads: 1064nm, 532nm, and 1320nm — other machines available

If you'd prefer a higher-specification, dual handle tattoo and hair removal machine or full stand-up model, alternative options are available. Get in touch and we'll talk you through what's right for your setup.

On completing this course you'll be certified in Laser Tattoo Removal. We do also train you in spmu eyebrow removal and laser carbon facials, aswell as offering guidance on skin pigmentation removal. Four revenue streams from one machine. Specialist and more advanced removal of permanent eyeliner and lip blush are not taught within our standard Laser Tattoo Removal Training

Ongoing mentoring and support is included — not just for a few weeks, but for the long term. We also have our own LPA, UK responsible person and laser engineer for troubleshooting, repairs, replacement parts, and servicing, meaning you're supported on the technical side of your machine too.
