Laser Tattoo Removal Training — Certified UK Course

Yes — this course is designed for complete beginners. All relevant certifications and practical training are included, taking you from zero experience to offering laser treatments to clients. You don't need any prior aesthetic or medical background.

There are currently no legal regulations requiring a specific qualification or licence to offer laser treatments in the UK. The requirements come from insurers — who typically ask for Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, Core of Knowledge, and a laser-appropriate training certificate. All of these are included in this course.

Could this change in future? Possibly. Our LPA (Laser Protection Advisor) advises that the laser industry is unlikely to see significant regulatory change before 2030 at the earliest, given that current focus is on the broader aesthetics sector. We don't feel it's appropriate to sell something expensive that isn't yet a confirmed requirement — especially when a VTCT Level 4/5 qualification alone costs around £3,500 without a machine or practical training.

If regulations do change and a specific certification becomes a legal requirement, we will update our training accordingly and support existing students through any transition — potentially via grandfather rights based on your experience, or an upgrade pathway if required.

The laser training market has huge price variation — much of it driven by machine brand markups rather than quality differences. We now manufacture our own machines under The Laser Machine Co. brand, working extensively with our LPA to source and build machines that are safety compliant, high spec, and genuinely effective.

Rather than marking up the cost, we pass the savings directly on to our students. We're a family business and believe professional training and equipment shouldn't be out of reach. Our goal is to fill a gap in the market — premium machines, thorough training, and exceptional ongoing support at a price that actually makes sense.

The course includes our Laser Machine Co. fully CE certified ND:YAG laser. It's a compact but robust machine at 20kg, and comes with laser safety glasses and three laser heads: 1064nm, 532nm, and 1320nm — covering all the treatments taught on the course.

On completing this course you'll be qualified to offer: laser tattoo removal, PMU/eyebrow tattoo removal, laser carbon facials, and skin pigmentation removal. Four revenue streams from one course and one machine.

Ongoing mentoring and support is included — not just for a few weeks, but for the long term. We also have our own LPA laser engineer for troubleshooting, repairs, replacement parts, and servicing, meaning you're supported on the technical side of your machine too.
