Yes — as long as you complete the online Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology course beforehand, which is included at no extra cost. This course requires a Level 3 certification as a prerequisite, but we've made it easy for complete beginners to fulfil that requirement without any additional cost.

We include an extensive online Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology certification that you complete in your own time before the course. It's thorough but not overwhelming — nothing to worry about. We also send the Core of Knowledge materials and training manuals beforehand so you can familiarise yourself with the content ahead of your practical days, and refer back to them afterwards.

There are currently no legal regulations requiring a specific qualification or licence to offer laser treatments in the UK. The requirements come from insurers — who typically ask for Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, Core of Knowledge, and a laser-appropriate training certificate. All of these are included in this course.

Could this change in future? Possibly. Our LPA (Laser Protection Advisor) advises that the laser industry is unlikely to see significant regulatory change before 2030 at the earliest, given that current focus is on the broader aesthetics sector. We don't feel it's appropriate to sell something expensive that isn't yet a confirmed requirement — especially when a VTCT Level 4/5 qualification alone costs around £3,500 without a machine or practical training.

If regulations do change and a specific certification becomes a legal requirement, we will update our training accordingly and support existing students through any transition — potentially via grandfather rights based on your experience, or an upgrade pathway if required.

The laser training market has huge price variation — much of it driven by machine brand markups rather than quality differences. We have our own brand, The Laser Machine Co., and work extensively with our LPA to source machines that are safety compliant, high spec, and genuinely effective.

Rather than marking up the cost by tens of thousands, we pass the savings directly to our students. We believe professional training and equipment shouldn't be out of reach — our goal is to fill a genuine gap in the market with premium machines, thorough training, and exceptional ongoing support at honest prices.

Laser tattoo and hair removal are Level 4 certifications, and a Level 3 prerequisite is required. If you already hold a Level 3 or above in any industry-related subject — PMU, tattooing, aesthetics — you're eligible to attend directly. If you're a complete beginner, completing our included online Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology course beforehand qualifies you to proceed.

You'll learn five treatments across the two days: how to remove tattoos, how to remove PMU eyebrows, how to offer laser carbon facials, how to remove skin pigmentation, and how to remove all types of body hair. All five from one dual-arm machine.

Yes — laser removal is consistently high demand. Hair removal clients typically need 6–8 sessions at £50–£150 per session, meaning £300–£1,200 per client. Tattoo removal similarly requires multiple sessions. With a handful of regular clients each week, the earning potential is significant — and this course gives you both revenue streams from one machine.
