Terms and conditions for Treatments & Training:

When becoming a client of Alex James SMP, Clinic & Training Academy you agree to abide by our Cancellation Policy & Terms of Business:

Treatment Terms & Conditions

1) A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings (except consultations which are free of charge, however failure to attend consultations without prior notice will require a deposit to secure another appointment)

2) If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice (2 working days) or fail to attend your appointment, this will result in a loss of your deposit and a £50 rescheduling fee should you wish to reschedule your appointment. A £100 rescheduling fee will be applied to cancellations on a weekend or bank holiday.

3) We can reschedule your appointment with no further deposit if there are more than 48 hours’ notice, however if a cancellation is made twice it will require another deposit to be made to reschedule your appointment, which must be within 30 days of the original booking.

4) A patch test may be required for new clients if you suffer from any allergies.

5) You must agree to follow all pre and post aftercare given. Failure to do so will affect your finished results. If aftercare is not followed and additional treatments are required, you will be charged accordingly.

6) You must be over 18 years of age.

7) You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

8) You must disclose all medical conditions, allergies and current medication as this may affect your treatment.

9) To allow the skin to heal correctly, you must leave 7-14 days between your procedures.

10) The Scalp Micropigmentation treatment consists of 3 sessions. We may offer a 4th session within 4-6 weeks of the 3rd session treatment. This will only be offered if required and at the practitioners discretion.

11) If you are running late you may have your treatment time shortened or rearranged to avoid inconvenience caused to other clients on our schedule. If you are more than 15 Minutes late we may not be able to carry out your service and there will a £50 booking fee to reschedule.

Booking & Payment

  1. 1.1. A Non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the training course.
    1.2. Payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.


    2. Course Content

    2.1. The training includes in-person instruction, practical demonstration, supervised practice, and certification (subject to successful completion).
    2.2. All training is delivered with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards.


    3. Equipment Provided

    3.1. Equipment included in the course is provided as part of the package and is not sold separately.
    3.2. All equipment is checked prior to handover. You are responsible for proper use, setup, and maintenance.
    3.3. If any equipment appears faulty, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving it.
    3.4. We will provide troubleshooting support and, where appropriate, repair or replace defective items in accordance with your statutory rights.


    4. Cancellations & Refunds

    4.1. Due to the nature of the service, no refunds are offered once a booking is confirmed.
    4.2. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, no cancellation rights apply once an in-person service has been fully performed.
    4.3. If you are unable to attend, you may request to reschedule at least 14 days prior to the course date (subject to availability).
    4.4. Failure to attend without prior notice will result in forfeiture of your payment.


    5. Certification

    5.1. Certification is awarded at our discretion upon successful completion of the training and demonstration of sufficient competency.
    5.2. Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.


    6. Liability

    6.1. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from training or equipment use.
    6.2. You are responsible for obtaining any required insurance or licensing relevant to the services you provide following training.


    7. Conduct & Expectations

    7.1. You agree to attend the full duration of the course and to conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner.
    7.2. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund.


    8. Acknowledgement

    By making payment, you confirm that:

     

    • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.

    • You accept that no refunds will be provided once the service is confirmed.
