For longer hair treatments as opposed to the standard shaved procedure, SMP is used to camouflage the contrast of the pale scalp shown through the hair and creates a permanently thicker appearance. 

If we are to consider using micropigmentation for thinning hair then we must look at certain factors to determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate for treatment:

• How long has your hair loss been stable?
• Are you currently using any medications/topical treatment to prevent further loss?
• How advanced is the hair loss, and how much of the scalp is visible?

If hair loss is severe, not stable, or too advanced it may mean that our SMP for thinning hair treatment is not suitable for you.
